M. Javed Panni holds Master degree in Commerce from University of Punjab and Master Degree in Business Administration (Major in Finance) from Western Michigan University USA. He participated in various professional courses/conferences and seminars conducted by SEC, USA and other Financial Institutions in USA and other countries.

He has more than three decades experience of working in Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (formerly CLA & SEAP) in senior capacities, last post he held was that of Executive Director. He has diversified experience in various Corporate Laws and practices, Companies Law, Securities Laws and Rules/ Regulation thereof.
